“The Viscount’s Tempting Minx” is the first novel in the “Dukes of War” series and was released in the year 2014. When she isn’t busy writing or reading romances, she can be found zip-lining through rainforests in Costa Rica, riding camels in Africa, or getting horribly lost in the middle of Budapest. She loves being and author and cannot imagine doing anything else by this point. Like anything that is worth it, this took real time and effort, however she is incredibly glad she never gave up. She never believed it was right for her, and made up her mind around 2005 to give her childhood dream a real chance. Her family encouraged her to get a “real” job, and she did follow this advice for a number of years. She was writing “stories” (albeit rather horrible ones) by the time she began going to elementary school. She owned about every historical romance that these ladies ever wrote, and she read quite a few of them more than once.Įrica can’t remember a time in her life when she didn’t want to be an author. Erica then devoured the rest of Johanna’s backlist, before moving on to some other great J’s of this period: Julie Garwood, Judith McNaught, and Jude Deveraux.

And from then on, she was addicted to historical romance. She was enthralled with the novel from start to finish. The first romance that she ever read was “Once a Princess” by Johanna Lindsey.
